Hello. Welcome to La Vida, The Life–The Life you were created to know and to live into. -Jason Allan Ross

John 8:32 records that Jesus of Nazareth said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The word translated “know” from the Greek word transliterated ginosko carries the connotation of an intimate and personal knowledge. Ginosko is also used in the different but relevant context that Joseph did not know Mary, the mother of Jesus, prior to Jesus’ birth, meaning Joseph did not have physical intimacy with Mary. The kind of knowledge we are to have with the truth is a close and experiential understanding, not a casual and passive relationship. Only that kind of knowledge of the truth brings true freedom.

It is my goal to reflect truth in the raw with the launch of La Vida, so that more of us live The Life.

  1. This is a good word! As I reflect on the “Fast food” approach to Christianity I see all around me and so often slip into myself, you have reminded me that the truth and freedom only come about when we really take time to sit at the feet of Jesus on a regular basis.
